Position Description: The ARD works in close conjunction with, and under the supervision of the Director, and assists with Residence Life and Student Life affairs at the campus. The ARD helps to ensure the safety, health and welfare of students, to supervise activities on and off campus, including group excursions. The ARD helps with matters related to the unusual general semester schedule of the program.

API programmes in Ireland are located in Dublin, Maynooth, Galway, Cork and Limerick. The Dublin and Maynooth programmes operate during the Fall, Spring and Summer terms. API offers a Resident Director position for the Dublin and Maynooth programmes, based in the Dublin office.
The Resident Director serves as API´s primary liaison for the programme and co-ordinates communication between University partners, students and the API office in Austin. The Resident Director is responsible for undertaking all tasks necessary for the smooth and successful operation of the study abroad programme and assisting when required with the internship programme.
